1Scope and responsible party
Deepixels Holdings (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2021/958091/07, is responsible for the personal information described in this Policy when you use https://www.wicstream.com/, ask us a question or subscribe to WiC updates. Our physical address is 132 Haygarth Road, Kloof, KwaZulu-Natal, 3610. For questions about this Policy or requests concerning your personal information, email info@deepixels.com
This Policy applies to the information Website. App accounts, streaming and purchases require a separate App privacy notice, even if those functions later appear on the same domain.
2Information and purposes

The signup is voluntary. We need a working email address to send updates or answer an email enquiry. Other form fields are optional unless marked otherwise. Ordinary Website forms are not intended for payments, identity verification or film submissions. Please use the channel we specify if we invite you to provide such material.
3Lawful use and email updates
We process an enquiry to respond to your request and maintain an appropriate record. We process technical information to operate and secure the Website, subject to POPIA. We use signup details to send WiC news and promotional updates with your consent. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email or by writing to info@deepixels.com. An enquiry alone does not enrol you for updates. We will not use the WiC signup to add you to a separate Deepixels marketing list without an appropriate choice.
4Recipients
Authorised team members and providers that host the Website, deliver forms, protect it and send opted-in updates may handle information on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. We may share information with advisers or authorities where lawfully necessary. We do not sell the mailing list or give identifiable subscriber details to filmmakers, venues or sponsors for their own marketing. Material providers that receive personal information are Cloudflare, Inc. (Website hosting, security and storage of signup details) and Adobe Inc. (delivery of the Website’s typeface, which receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads). WiC update emails are sent on our behalf by Resend, Inc.
5International handling, security and retention
Some service providers may store or access information in the United States and other countries where Cloudflare operates its global network. Where personal information is transferred outside South Africa, we will apply a ground and safeguards permitted by section 72 of POPIA. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect information. If we become aware of a reportable security compromise, we will assess it and provide the notices required by law.
We keep enquiry records for 12 months after the enquiry is closed, signup details while you subscribe and, after you unsubscribe, only your email address on a do-not-contact list for as long as necessary to honour your choice. We keep no technical logs of our own; our hosting provider keeps short-term security logs under its own policy. These periods apply unless lawful obligations or a legitimate purpose require a different period. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify information securely.
6Choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold information about you, request access or correction, request deletion where appropriate, object to certain processing and withdraw consent. Write to info@deepixels.com so we can verify and respond. You can change optional cookie choices through a cookie settings link, which we will add if we introduce optional tools where those tools are used. You may complain to the Information Regulator at https://inforegulator.org.za/ or POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za.
7Children and changes
The Website is a general information site and does not provide children’s accounts. We do not knowingly invite children to provide personal information through its forms. If you believe a child has signed up or sent information, contact us so we can address it lawfully. We will update this Policy and its date when our practices materially change.
